Sylvie Sloane was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1988 and worked as a solicitor until being called to the Bar in October 2006.

Whilst a solicitor, Sylvie worked in private practice; then with Legal Aid, The Office of the Director or Public Prosecutions and the Australian Crime Commission.

Since being called to the Bar, Sylvie has practised primarily in the areas of Criminal Law and Family Law.
